What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wildland Firefighter position at Fireco INC.?
Fireco INC is a wildfire suppression contractor based out of Boise, ID with equipment operating in regions 3, 4, and 6. We are currently looking to add qualified FFT2's, FFT1's, and Engine Bosses to our engine crews for the upcoming fire season and beyond. This is an on-call seasonal position to start, with potential for part-time off-season hours and salaried positions for the right candidate. While we are based out of Boise, out-of-state workers are encouraged to apply; we will work with you in getting to and from fires.
Applicants must personally possess their certificates of classes and proof of completed task books required for their wildland position applied for.
The hiring process will consist of two interviews, with the second being a mandatory face-to-face via technology or in person.
