Firefly Tutors is URGENTLY hiring for a MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS (ELA) TUTOR
IN-HOME, Experienced Tutor ONLY
MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS (ELA) tutor for IN-HOME tutoring in Ramona, CA 92065 and surrounding areas needed to assist middle school students in math and English language arts (ELA)
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TUTOR DURING WEEKDAY/DAYTIME HOURS
Ideal tutor candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- well versed in concepts and instruction in math and English language arts (ELA) for middle school students
- 1-2 years of experience working with students
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized tutoring sessions in math and English language arts (ELA)
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians to schedule recurring sessions.
- Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and track their development.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Manage tutoring sessions effectively, ensuring a supportive and productive learning environment.
Ability to teach other subject areas a PLUS and increases earning potential
Pay is $35 per hour
1-20 hours per week
