Firefly Tutors is URGENTLY hiring for an ELEMENTARY TUTOR (24/25 School year)
IN-HOME/IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY
3rd grade tutor in CEDAR CITY, UT and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY)
MUST BE AVAILABLE some Mon-Fri WEEKDAYS (after school) and weekends
Ideal candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Versed in best practices for elementary aged students
- 1-2 years of experience working with students
- OTHER SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASE EARNING POTENTIAL
Pay is $35 per hour
1-20 hours per week, Part-time only

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions to students, focusing on their unique learning needs and goals (materials provided by families).
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum tailored to various age groups, including children and adults.
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the educational experience.
- Manage session effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
