Position Overview:
As part of our team, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our websites. You will work closely with our team, marketing department, and other stakeholders to design, build, and improve websites that meet both business goals and user needs. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be crucial in delivering seamless, functional, and visually appealing websites. You will need to stay current with industry trends and evolving technologies to ensure our websites are always optimized, secure, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, develop, and implement new websites from the ground up, ensuring that they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Site Improvement & Maintenance: Regularly update, optimize, and improve the performance of current websites, ensuring a seamless user experience across different platforms, browsers, and devices.
• Front-End Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for the user-facing parts of the website. Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create engaging and responsive user interfaces.
• Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic and databases to support the front-end functionality. Work with server-side languages and frameworks such as PHP and databases like MySQL or SQL Server.
• Optimization & Performance: Ensure websites are optimized for speed and scalability, employing best practices in web performance, load times, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices to safeguard websites from potential threats and protect sensitive data and user information.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, trends, and industry best practices to bring innovative solutions to the team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for websites, codebases, and development processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in web development with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Web Design Principles: Knowledge of design principles to implement aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues that may arise with websites, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of problems.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time.
• SEO: Proven experience in implementing SEO strategies with strong proficiency in SEO tools, on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, along with content optimization skills to enhance search performance.

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

• Web Performance Tools: Familiarity with tools for website optimization and performance testing (e.g., Google Analytics, SemRush).
• UX/UI Experience: Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles, and experience in collaborating with design teams.
• CRM: Experience with CRM such as Zoho or Sales Force.
• Experience with OpenCart: Familiarity with an open source PHP-based online e-commerce platform such as OpenCart.

Experience/Education:

• Masters degree in Web Development, Computer Programming, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Web Development/Design: 3 years (Required)
