What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Helper / Apprentice position at Firetrol Protection Systems?

We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Apprentice / Trainee to join our team of over 1,000 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our San Antonio (Schertz), TX location.
- Assist with the installation of fire protection equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of fire protection systems under direct supervision of a licensed Technician.
- Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections under direct supervision of a licensed Technician.
- Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.
- Work experience, training or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of fire systems or related equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
- May work in variety of businesses and institutions including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.
- Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
