Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a highly productive team of promotable technicians
- Be available to support technicians and service scheduler
- Understand workload and manage manpower as needed
- Ensure material is available and staged for service and truck inventory
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
- Assist the scheduling coordinator daily to make sure that technicians are being scheduled effectively
- Review all completed work orders daily for quality control and efficiency
- Review all inspection reports daily for accuracy
- Review open work orders weekly and provide a solution to resolve in a timely manner
- Ensure technicians are maintaining company vehicles in a safe and clean condition
- Set expectations to ensure customer expectations are met
- Education: NICET certified, RME-I and TCEQ certified
- Minimum of 5 years in technical field capacity within fire sprinkler with additional experience serving in a leadership capacity (i.e. Project Management, Field Superintendent, or lead role responsible for communicating with customers and within the company to coordinate successful execution of projects).
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting permit drawings.
- Knowledge of sprinkler systems and backflows.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Technical expertise in life safety systems.
- Strong focus on customer service in a team-oriented environment.
