What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Counsel position at Firm Advice?
Firm Advice is conducting a search on behalf of a prestigious national scientific and medical nonprofit. We are searching for an attorney who will have the unique opportunity to work with stakeholders to help establish an innovation ecosystem that will serve as an incubator / accelerator for emerging companies. Responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts and providing advice on federal procurement, teaming agreements, clinical R&D, public private partnerships (PPP), and intellectual property agreements and data rights, among other responsibilities.
Hybrid position, with 2 to 3 days per week in Bethesda, Maryland office.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) and membership in a US bar.
- 6 plus years of relevant contracts experience.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations is a strong plus.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to handle complex legal problems.
