Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Primary Therapist at Firm Foundation Treatment Center located in Woodstock, GA. The Primary Therapist will be responsible for providing counseling and therapy services to men, and families. They will assess clients' mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and conduct therapy sessions, group therapy, and conduct other therapeutic roles. The Behavioral Health Therapist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
Psychology and Counseling skills
Experience in providing mental health counseling
Knowledge of relationship counseling and couples therapy
Understanding of addiction, relapse prevention techniques, and various evidence based modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong empathy and listening skills
Abilty to adapt within a growing company, with possibility for growth and expansion
Master's degree in Social work, Counseling, or related field
Licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) or provisional licensure
