What We Do
Internship Overview
First American's Internship Program is a full-time, 10-12 week paid internship from June - August 2025 which can be worked from an office or remotely, depending on the job opportunity. As a First American Intern you will work in a program designed to help you gain experience and develop the technical, professional and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout your career. As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial / Title Industry - balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities - while under the guidance of a manager and / or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support specific business functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Technology, Accounting and Finance.
This position will be located onsite at 4 First American Way, Santa Ana, CA
The Title Assistant Intern will work on various projects and assignments including :
- Gaining a thorough understanding of required documents to ensure smooth real estate closings
- Reviewing real estate documents for accuracy
- Assist in abstracting documents for recording
- Creates and maintains files, records and reports; monitor and track workflow
- Responds to inquiries and gathers information to resolve issues and complete the title process. Communicates information and prepares documentation and reports

Pay Range : $20.00 - $24.00 hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
