Works with Network Security Engineers to help solve Network Security problems. Owns and drives their respective Network Security intern project.What You'll Do
- Take ownership of a Network Security Internship project, completing deliverables and driving business value for First American.
- Collaborate and work with other team members to learn the Network Security program.
- Take on tasks as required to assist other team members.
- Be a sponge, soaking up information about Network Security and the First American landscape.
- Share ideas on potential improvements in processes, documentation, and other team related deliverables.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Currently taking or have completed a graduate degree focusing on cyber security, network security, or related to public cloud.
- Currently taking or have completed a course related to computer networking.
- Scripting background, particularly interacting with REST API's and data manipulation
- Have taken specialized classes in Information Security.
- Ability to collaborate with others, building effective working relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement processes to ensure compliance and quality.
- Deals with others in an honest manner, assures adherence to company policies, addresses questionable business practices.
- Accountability for self-growth, seeking understanding of knowledge gaps
- Creates and delivers accurate reports and presentations. Uses good listening skills.
- Ability to convey technical and conceptual ideas/topics to non-technical personnel.
***Candidates will need to be available to work on a hybrid basis at the Santa Ana, CA through entirety of the internship.***
Par Range: $26.00-$28.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
