- Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, others examine a variety of items.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.
- Must be able to stand on feet during entire shift
- Workers in heavy-manufacturing plants may be exposed to the noise and grime of machinery.
LOCATION: Columbia City, IN
Shifts:
Shift 1: 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday with possible weekend work $20.00 per hour
Paid Bi-weekly. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT!
Requirements
Quality Control Inspectors typically do the following:
- Must be able to rework parts
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
- Accept or reject finished items
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
Requirements
- 2-4 years experience in automotive manufacturing facilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Quality control analysis
- Active listening/ability to follow instructions
- Detail Oriented/Monitoring skills
- Problem solving/Troubleshooting skills
- Judgment and decision making
- Comfortable receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching
- Comfortable with ongoing change and learning new technology/processes
- Has a dependable team-player attitude with an understanding that as the demand change your work hours may vary
- Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours plus
- Have a positive attitude
Salary : $20
