Warehouse Manager

Description

First Assured Quality Systems is looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. This position will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a variety of shipping products. This position will be responsible for ensuring that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. This position will be in Hudson, WI and is a full-time position.  

Schedule: Full time.

Salary: $60,000-70,000 depending on experience

Location: St. Paul, MN

Responsibilities:

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.  

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.

Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.

Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.

Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security. 

Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system. 

Assist in preparing annual budget with company leadership. 

Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies. 

Plan work assignments, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. 

Train, orient, coach and motivate employees.

Produce reports and statistics regularly (in/Out status reports, etc.)

Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Requirements

Requirements/Skills:

Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.

Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.

Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators. (KPIs) 

Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.

Excellent communications. 

5-8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or business administration. 

Forklift certification highly recommended.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
