What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Branch Manager to assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission and Vision by working directly with the COO Chief Operations Officer to provide the best value financial services to members by providing outstanding service to both external and internal members.
Job Summary
The Branch Manager will assist the COO in providing leadership to the bank through efficient daily operations in all areas of banking service. Facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources. A key component of this service is to identify the financial needs of the member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and supervises customer service representatives, member service specialist, member service representatives, and member care advisors in daily tasks and operations.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Assists in efforts to reach profit, performance, and customer service goals.
- Oversees banking services, especially customer service, to ensure excellence; contacts or assists customers and prospective customers.
- Reviews and manages staffing procedures, ensuring that staff assignments and responsibilities are reasonable, and that salary structure is equitable.
- Coordinates communication with branch staff.
- Works to meet branch performance standards including operating loss control, bank secrecy, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Oversees and assists with the preparation of all branch reports for approval by manager.
- Attends and participates in periodic staff meetings.
- Manages branch operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent math and accounting skills.
- Excellent personal and professional leadership skills.
- Understanding of banking regulatory matters and procedures for proper operation.
- Ability to perform various banking procedures and operations.
- Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.
Education
High school graduate or GED or two - three years' experience
Associates degree or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent banking industry experience.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
