Description
Performs skilled clerical and administrative duties in the preparation of mortgage loans; working with loan officers. Must be knowledgeable of the mortgage lending policies and applicable procedures as well as the county, state and federal regulations.
· Acquire the necessary information and prepare proper loan documentation to perform the mechanics of the loan process. Prepare and maintain files as well as follow up on pending items.
· Position will require more duties assigned to the mortgage lending and consumer lending area, with additional requirements of commercial loan documentation preparation and support. i.e., maintain all mortgage reporting information or customer credit denials.
· Assist with administrative tasks directed by loan officer/s, and assist other loan support/officers as needed.
· Comply with all requirements, policies and procedures of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and attend all mandatory BSA training as needed for this position. Additionally required to complete all required compliance and regulatory training, not limited to BSA.
· Assume and accomplish other duties as directed or self-initiated.

· Excellent clerical skills along with numerical aptitude required.
· Excellent organization, follow-through skills necessary.
· Working knowledge of computers and software, i.e., Word, Excel is necessary, and along with knowledge of Bank software program. Use of general office equipment necessary.
· Must be or become Notary.
· Professionalism must be exhibited and confidentiality must be exhibited at all times.
