The Digital Operations Specialist helps First Bank fulfill its vision by providing stellar internal and external customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Displays a sense of ownership of the location to ensure its overall success and client satisfaction by ensuring the facility is properly maintained and clean, necessary supplies are available, and a high level of service is provided.
  • Builds trusted relationships with clients through courteous and concerned approach to meeting client needs in person and via inbound and outbound telephone calls, email, online banking chats, and Virtual Teller transactions.
  • Opens and closes deposit accounts and electronic products and assists clients with in-person and online account opening.
  • Resolves client problems and complaints with courtesy and discretion and directs clients with difficult problems to other sources for assistance.
  • Through a deep understanding of bank products and services, uncovers needs and makes recommendations to clients and prospects.
  • Cashes checks, deposits checks and cash into client accounts, and accepts loan payments.
  • Executes daily balancing procedures systematically, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Assists clients within the safe deposit area.
  • Counts and balances ITM and cash drawer as required.
  • Performs account reconciliations as dual control for accounting department.
  • Through reviews of account activity, helps to prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Identifies and rectifies exceptions by performing quality control functions.
  • Troubleshoots system problems.
  • Ensures the successful implementation and integration of system enhancements and updates.
  • Serves as project team member on projects involving digital operations.
  • Provides support to Branch Manager to carry out the strategic plan for the branch.

Work Environment

  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 (Additional hours may be required for company meetings or training.)
  • Job Arrangement: Full-time, permanent
  • Travel Requirement: The job may require travel on rare occasions for training or other work-related duties.
  • Remote Work: The job role is in-person. A personal or work crisis could prompt the role to become temporarily remote.
  • Physical Effort: May require standing or sitting for prolonged periods. May occasionally require moving objects up to 63 pounds.
  • Environmental Conditions: No adverse environmental conditions expected.
  • Client Facing Role: No, but occasionally will asst clients with complex questions and concerns.
