We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregivers ~ teachers to join the FBCC CDC faculty family.
This role which is essential in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children, focusing on their emotional, social, and cognitive development. requires patience, kindness, insight and intuition along with some experience and training.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background or interest, willingness to learn and be coached and mentored in caregiving and child development principles, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Create a safe and clean environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage with children through interactive activities, fostering their creativity and critical thinking skills.
- Assist children with daily living activities (ADLs) as needed, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents or concerns that arise during the day.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in caregiving or child development roles is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring to ensure children's safety and well-being.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary needs while promoting healthy eating habits among children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Pay: $14.50 - $19.00 per hour
