Child Care Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, and nurturing environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a Sunday school setting.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents.
• Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in caregiving roles such as daycare, nannying, or working with children in educational or church settings.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid practices and emergency response procedures.
• Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A patient, caring demeanor with a genuine love for working with children.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 14 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
