Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position involves performing a range of custodial tasks, including commercial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including entrances and parking lots.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established procedures for using cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Assist with residential painting projects as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in facilities maintenance will be considered an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
