What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kindergarten Assistant and EEC Teacher position at First Baptist Church School?
An assistant is needed to help established teachers in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. A love for children and the Lord is a critical part of this position. It is necessary to have good communication skills with children and adults. The assistant helps with classroom activities and taking students to other classes such as PE/music and lunch. Physically, the person will need to be able to go up and down stairs multiple times a day, be outside for recess duty, and stand on your feet.
During EEC time, the responsibilities shift to more of a teacher role. EEC is our after school care program.
Hours for this position would be 8:00-4:30
Bring driver's license and social security card. Applicants must be 18 years old and have HS diploma or GED. This is a full-time position with benefits. This is year round position, meaning it does not follow the school schedule. Experience in a school setting is preferred. We will not schedule an interview unless you have actually applied at our office.
