What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-K Lead Teacher/Teacher Assistant position at First Baptist Day School?

First Baptist Day School is seeking experienced, nurturing and energetic Lead Infant and Twos teachers.

Must have reliable transportation and proven experience as a leader in the early childhood field.

Job Summary :

Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters the physical, cognitive, and social / emotional development of young children.
Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.
Supervision and support of assistant teachers and floaters.

Qualifications :

Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED, Coursework in Early Childhood desirable.

Criminal Background check and drug screening required.

Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed childcare setting.

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and approaches to learning for infants and toddlers.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with others.

Must be available to work flexible hours when needed.

Salary : $16 - $17
