What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die position at First Brands Group?
Job Description:
Operate overhead crane up to 40 Tons, forklift, milling machine, and horizontal lathe, surface grinder, powered hand tools.
Operate TIG welder:
- Requires coordination between both hands and a foot
Operate dry-ice blasting equipment:
- requires use of both hands at same time
Disassemble and reassemble injection molds for preventative maintenance purposes:
- May need to lift up to 50 pounds
- Disassembly requires use of various hand tools, including pneumatic and electric powered tools/
- Working and troubleshooting electrical issues with the molds, up to 240 volts.
- Needs good problem- solving skills when faced with issues during PM process
- On feet for the duration of the shift
- Need to have the ability to climb and enter an injection molding machine which may entail working on a 3 to 6 foot step ladder.
