About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of machining experience
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proven experience operating boring mills or similar machinery.
  • Basic understanding of machining processes and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification in machining or a related field.
  • Registered Journeyman and/or comparable education
  • Excellent working knowledge of machining processes and in-depth understanding of tool and die manufacturing
  • Knowledge of machining, tool & die, modeling, programming, die cast process
  • Experience with CNC boring mills.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor boring mill machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
