What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at First Care Medical Physical Therapy?
First Care Medical is a patient-focused physical therapy clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to help individuals regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall well-being. We foster a welcoming and professional environment where both patients and staff feel valued and supported. We are looking for a kind and compassionate individual who wants to grow and thrive with our company. We work with personal injury patients. Meaning patients that have been in a car accident. About 60% of our patients are Spanish speaking and require a Spanish speaker. Our practice is referral based we work on maintaining relationships with the chiropractors, attorneys and other medical providers that refer their patients to our office. We are looking for a happy, enthusiastic and hard working personality that thrives in building relationships. This role primarily focuses on front desk management and administrative duties while assisting therapists with basic tech support and patient care tasks.
Key Responsibilities:Reception & Administrative Duties:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about services, treatment, and scheduling for 3 locations
- Verify attorney information
- Manage the Physical therapy email
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Tech & Patient Support Duties :
- Assist therapists with preparing treatment areas and cleaning equipment
- Guide patients through basic exercises under therapist supervision
- Provide patients with heat/ice packs or assist with therapy equipment as needed
- Translate for providers
- Be TEAM PLAYER
