Assist in the functions of Portfolio Management, including CRE, C&I and RES loans. Candidate must be fluent in English and Mandarin
Loan Administration Duties
- Perform various credit administration and portfolio management duties related to the support of all lending loan assets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for management and for regulatory purposes.
- Request, obtain, review, and analyze financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, title reports, appraisals and property inspection reports as directed, both personal and commercial.
- Review of legal documents for purposes of assessing loan status.
- Research State and Local Building Department, registry, clerk, and taxing authority records, as necessary.
- Perform site visit/inspections as identified and directed by FVP, CRM or VP, PM.
- Coordinate Third-Party site visit/inspections, appraisals, environmental or engineering engagements as directed by FVP, CRM or VP, PM.
- Review Third Party invoices for accuracy.
- Assist with other projects, as assigned and necessary.
Collections Duties
- Maintain collection efforts to control delinquency levels on; commercial and residential loans, accrual, and non-accrual loans.
- Work directly with FVP-CRM on managing delinquencies.
- Work with FVP, CRM on all Bankruptcy, Serious Collection, Foreclosure and REO matters.
- Work with Assigned outside Attorneys on collection and foreclosure matters.
- Issue various Bank correspondence to Delinquent Borrowers and Guarantors as necessary; collection letters, and right to cure letters for delinquent and matured loans.
- Work with FVP-CRM to effectively organize loss mitigation; forbearance, workout proposals or loan restructurings, with Borrowers to protect Bank assets.
- Prepare Credit memos requesting approvals for loss mitigation efforts on problem loans.
- Work with FVP, CRM, and VP, PM and/or outside Counsel to effectively document forbearance, workout proposals or loan restructuring to ensure compliance to Bank approved terms and conditions.
- Coordinate Note sales with investors and their attorneys.
- Review of legal documents for purposes of assessing loan collection approach.
- Manage vendors to secure REO properties and other bank assets, i.e., insurance carriers, locksmiths, engineers, plumbers, electricians, painters, and architects.
- Obtain Litigation status reports and prepare submissions to Senior Management.
- Perform related and unrelated duties as assigned or required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of banking or credit union experience; preferably, not required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
