Pay and Benefits :
Pay rate is $24 (pay is based off experience raises based on performance every 6 months)
First Choice pays travel time and mileage
30-40 hours
Monday - Friday
- with an on call rotation every 6th weekend.
Responsibilities :
Assists patients with their daily living activitiesSpends time assisting patients with grooming to help them feel greatWorks as part of the care team to help patients reach their goals and to be comfortedAlways maintains patient comfort & safetyAttends case conference weekly to coordinate patient care with case manager and other cliniciansTeam Leader Responsibilities :
Training New Staff : Team Leaders will be responsible foronboardingand providing necessary training for new CNAs in their assigned county. This includes shadowing, providing resources, and ensuring all necessary certifications and knowledge are in place.Holding Bimonthly Breakout Meetings : Team Leaders will facilitate bimonthly meetings to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure consistent communication across the teamAssisting with Interviews : Team Leaders will assist in interviewing potential candidates for CNA positions to ensure quality staff is hired for the team.Providing Support for CNAs : Team Leaders will be the first point of contact for any questions or concerns from CNAs. They will provide ongoing support, guidance, and troubleshooting for any challenges faced by staff members.Last Minute Call-Off Support : Team Leaders will assist in covering shifts when a CNA calls off last minute. They will work to ensure that any sudden absences are addressed promptly, whether by helping to find a replacement or managing the staffing adjustments required.Assisting DON with Time Off Request Scheduling : Team Leaders will collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure proper scheduling of time off for CNAs. This includes reviewing requests, managing coverage needs, and ensuring fairness in scheduling.Qualifications : Active CNA license
