This is not a commission-only position or an MLM. As a W-2 salary plus bonus/commission employee, you will enjoy 100% paid health, vision, and dental benefits after 90 days. Our comprehensive benefits package includes PTO, vacation time, and paid holidays after 90 days, as well as a 401(k) plan with a match after 12 months.
About the Role
As a Retirement Planner, your primary responsibility will be to build retirement plans that meet the unique needs of our clients. This involves:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and follow-up.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, goals, and priorities to develop personalized retirement plans.
- Plan Implementation: Collaborate with clients to implement their customized retirement plans, ensuring seamless execution and ongoing support.
- Ongoing Support: Provide continuous guidance and education to clients, adapting to their evolving needs and objectives.
We are looking for a professional with a positive attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience in financial services, particularly working with public employees (teachers, 403b, 457 market). A 215 insurance license is required, and a Series 65 license is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in financial planning, preferably in a role focused on retirement planning or a similar field.
- Licenses/Certifications: Hold a valid Life & Health Insurance License and possess a Series 65 license (or willingness to obtain one).
- Education: High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
