Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow through OpenDental software.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including care plans.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
- Review documentation for accuracy, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental office management practices.
- Familiarity with dental terminology.
- Experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and documentation review processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.
