Job Description

First Coast Heart and Vascular Center is a comprehensive cardiology practice that provides competent, timely and compassionate care to our patients. We serve Duval, Clay, St. Johns and Flagler counties. We are looking for an experienced and Registered Echo and Vascular Technologist who will be responsible for assisting medical staff in clinical tests to diagnose or assess the status of cardiac and vascular disease. This position will work at our St Augustine and Palm Coast locations 4-5 days a week.

Registered Echo and Vascular Technologist Requirements:

Use of ultrasound instruments and non-invasive arterial pressure measurement techniques.

Performs echo and vascular diagnostic studies according to established clinic protocols, using training and knowledge to apply appropriate tests to arrive at meaningful results.

Reports tests to Director or Interpreting Physician in a timely manner.

Maintains written and computer-based patient records with accuracy.

Must be registered in Adult Echo AND Vascular through ARDMS or CCI.

Must have Echo & Vascular experience.

Minimum of one year experience.

Experience with PACS and EMR preferred.

Must be able to work independently while in a strong team environment.

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Travel may be required.

No weekends and No call

Occasionally covering Flagler, Duval and Clay counties.

Experience and registry in cardiac AND vascular ultrasound required.
