About Your Team UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities Perform Echo & Vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination by complying with established policies and procedures. Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with doctors, nurses and all other individuals providing care to your patient, to ensure accurate and timely performance of all echo / vascular ultrasound procedures. Participate in quality improvement activities (including departmental adherence to ICAEL / ICAVL standards) by participating in the collection and organization of data to ensure quality is consistent with established standards. Assume responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational activities to promote improvement and compliance with ICAEL / ICAVL standards. Provide customer service by utilizing communication skills to ensure organizational objectives and mission is maintained. Maintain and care of equipment within the department. Requirements Ability to perform all echo and vascular procedures according to ICAEL / ICAVL protocol Certification and Licensure. CPR Certification. Preferred Requirements One (1) year related experience. Completion of an accredited Echo / Vascular Ultrasound program. Registry Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound.
