Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial services, loan origination, and underwriting processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Administrative support to the loan department in the form of document preparation.
- Track on Excel pending documents and log any document missing and/or pending.
- Scan all of loans and new accounts while checking for accuracy and entering index information for document retrieval.
- Request, scan, and maintenance tickler for updated Financial Statements.
- Request, scan, and maintenance tickler for updated Tax Returns.
- Be responsible for hazard insurance and force placed insurance.
- Assist when needed with loan renewals.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Reliable - good attendance record.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Familiar with Excel, Microsoft work and Outlook.
