General Function :
Process all customer transactions via Nupoint Teller accurately and efficiently while providing professional and courteous customer service. Assist with mail duties, cash balancing, ATM maintenance and balancing, and assist customers with any problems. Assist Branch Manager or Sr. Personal Banker with other duties as assigned.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Complete all deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Prepare and sell money orders and official checks within bank guidelines
- Maintain a good working knowledge of CSI's online applications
- Assist customers with online and mobile banking issues and questions
- Work night deposits and ATM deposits under dual control
- Direct and refer customers to appropriate bank department for service when necessary
- Process stop payments
- Assist customers with accessing safe deposit boxes
- Answer branch phone calls professionally and handle customers' needs via phone accurately and efficiently
- Keep teller area supplied with all necessary forms and supplies
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Research and resolve customer issues
- Refer and cross-sell products
- Greet all customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure all necessary equipment is in working order including but not limited to drive-up equipment and ATM
- Accept yearly Safe Deposit Box payments
- Attend all necessary staff training sessions
- Attend all bank sponsored activities
- Participate in civic activities and events
- Maintain working knowledge of proper compliance procedures in the deposit area
- Complete Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR's) as necessary
- Complete holds to necessary customer deposits
- Assist and participate in all branch and companywide campaigns and activities
- Commitment to the required community services hours within the guidelines of our FCB Gives program
- Exhibit and prompt a positive attitude supporting our First Community Bank culture
- Ahere to FCB's First Focus, Misson Statement, and Vision Statement
- Answer all incoming calls with the FCB standard phone greeting : "Thank you for calling First Community Bank. This is (first name), how may I help you?"
- Ensure all bank information and systems are protected
- Assist branch management and branch administrator with any other duties as assigned
