• # of patient consults/day (caseload): Varies 10-15/day caseload
• Are Dieticians required to be registered - RDN or is RD ok? RD ok
• Are there any other required certifications? Such as CCN? CNS? no
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: diabetes, renal disease, acute inpatient med/surg type patients, outpatient dialysis assessments, LTC contracts for monthly/quarterly assessments
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: knowledge of inpatient RD acuity, charting, ASPEN guidelines, dialysis
• Are there dietary/nutrition aids in this department? What are their job duties? Not for clinical nutrition, only for patient meal ordering/printing
• EMR: Epic
• Any special equipment? no
• Shifts & Scheduling (start times, length): varies, typically 730-4 M-F, may rotate weekend shifts (approx 2-3 hours on weekends)
• Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling? yes, if agreed upon by RDs
• Weekend Requirements: every 3rd if needed, only requires 2-3 hours on one weekend day (choose Sat or Sunday)
• Holiday Requirements: n/a
• Is there a call or standby requirement?: n/a
• Floating Requirements : n/a - contracts through Bismarck hospital, mostly remote
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: business casual
• How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? whatever is needed for charting, hospital orientation, policies/procedures

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
