We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment by coordinating shipments, maintaining precise records, and supporting warehouse operations. You will collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to streamline processes and uphold our commitment to efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Processing & Verification
- Review sales orders, shipping documents, and logistics records to ensure accuracy (quantity, address, terms).
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, or warehouse teams to resolve order discrepancies.
2. Packaging & Shipment Coordination
- Oversee product packaging to comply with shipping requirements (e.g., damage prevention, labeling, compliance).
- Arrange transportation (carriers/couriers) and track shipment status.
3. Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Generate and maintain shipping records, waybills, bills of lading (BOL), and customs documents.
- Update inventory systems to ensure real-time accuracy of stock movements.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations (entry-level candidates welcome with training).
- QuickBooks proficiency – ability to process invoices, track shipments, and reconcile logistics expenses.
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy and documentation (BOLs, customs forms).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) skills – data entry, labeling, and basic reporting.
Job Type: Part-time
