What are the responsibilities and job description for the Federal Enterprise Implementation Manager position at First Due?
This is a remote position.
The Federal Enterprise Implementation Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget in a FedRAMP-compliant environment. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan while maintaining security and compliance requirements. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with FedRAMP security and compliance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, incorporating security controls and compliance checkpoints.
- Manage and track project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and FedRAMP continuous monitoring requirements.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication within secure channels.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and support as needed, while maintaining proper security clearance requirements.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment that prioritizes security awareness and compliance.
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management and clients, through approved communication channels.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong relationships while adhering to federal security protocols.
- Identify potential project risks, including security and compliance risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and address issues that may impact project delivery or FedRAMP compliance.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, client requirements, and FedRAMP security controls.
- Conduct regular project reviews, evaluations, and security assessments.
- Maintain documentation for FedRAMP continuous monitoring and annual assessment requirements.
- May work with non-Fedeeral projects as needed, within bandwidth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly recommended.
- Current FedRAMP certification preferred (e.g., FedRAMP Assessor, ISC2 CCSP).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing projects in federal or FedRAMP environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and FedRAMP security requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining security and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with emphasis on security risk management.
- Knowledge of federal information security regulations and compliance requirements.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with federal agency operations and procurement processes.
- Understanding of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) operations and security requirements.
- Knowledge of incident response procedures and security event management.
Working Environment:
- Must be able to work in secure facilities when required.
- May require occasional travel to government facilities.
- Must be comfortable working within strict security protocols and guidelines.
- Required to maintain current knowledge of FedRAMP requirements and security updates.
