LOAN PRODUCTION MANAGER

1. The primary responsibility of the Loan Production Manager (LPM) is to facilitate and expedite the loan approval process by completing the Commercial Loan Recommendation Sheet (CLRS). The LPM works with the loan production team to meet Key Production Indicators (KPI) established by management.
2. The Loan Production Manager reports to the Chief Lending Officer (CLO) who will monitor and prioritize loans in process recognizing that priorities may need to be shifted to meet customer service needs.
3. The LPM is the gatekeeper for financial information. The LPM will accumulate financial information to the degree necessary for forwarding to the Credit Analyst to complete the financial analysis of the borrower.
4. The LPM will attend weekly production meeting and report the loans in process and additional information required to complete timely underwriting of loans.
5. The LPM will attend Bank Loan and Management Loan Committee meetings and participate in the discussion of loans being presented for approval by the committee.

Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Collection of financial information from the lender or borrower.
2. Forwarding the financial information for credit analysis.
3. Following up with the lender or borrower when it is determined that additional information is required. A reasonableness test should be included based on the size and complexity of the customer to prevent “paralysis by analysis” so the CLRS can be completed in a timely fashion.
4. Researching resources to determine the borrower is properly registered to conduct business (i.e. corporate, limited liability companies, etc.)
5. Researching market information pertinent to the loan application utilizing various resources (company and industry websites, banking publications, RMA statement studies, etc.).
6. Completing the CLRS with existing and projected loan information, ratios, trends and other information provided by the credit analyst and lender, details of the loan purpose, history and pertinent information of the borrower, reasonable strengths and weaknesses of the borrower and loan request.
7. Address any reasonable weakness of the borrower, credit analysis or transaction structure with the lender to develop mitigating factors for identified issues.
8. Complete the appropriate risk rating worksheets for each loan to include with each loan request and annual analysis.
9. Present the CLRS to the recommending or servicing lender for concurrence with the information presented in the CLRS.
As the lender is ultimately responsible for the loan recommendation and is responsible to manage the loan to repayment, any CLRS items that are not satisfactorily resolved between the LPM and lender are submitted to the CLO for resolution.

The employee will occasionally stand, walk, climb, or balance; stoop or kneel. Special vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus. The noise level in the environment is usually normal.
Special Projects: This position will require collaboration with other departments at the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and require completion of special projects as assigned.
