Branch Manager II Position
The Branch Manager II is responsible for administering management of a full-service, profitable branch for First Farmers Bank & Trust. This position involves supervising retail staff and providing input on various committees throughout the year. Key responsibilities include articulating bank products and services, cross-selling to new and current clients, and driving sales opportunities through outside selling.
Main Duties:
1. Supervise, train, and perform annual reviews for all branch personnel.
2. Manage overall branch operations including scheduling, job responsibilities, monthly meetings, and weekly huddles.
3. Establish and help attain performance objectives for your branch.
4. Contribute to interactions with other bank departments to leverage sales opportunities.
5. Develop an outside calling strategy to build new relationships for the bank.
6. Conduct targeted sales calls and drive sales opportunities through outside selling.
7. Provide quality customer service through knowledge of bank products and services.
8. Expand and retain bank customer relationships and solicit new relationships from prospective customers.
9. Educate customers about features and benefits of bank products and services.
10. Investigate competitive offerings in your market.
11. Review and provide reports to management on branch totals, teller offenses, and cash balances.
12. Conduct financial consultations with customers and take applications for consumer loans.
13. Assist commercial loan officers with past due customer information.
14. Determine fee refunds and settlement of NSF lists.
15. Oversee maintenance items for your branch, including the parking lot.
16. Coordinate training of staff on all bank products and services.
17. Maintain customer contact and handle customer complaints.
18. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
19. Attend all applicable meetings, including Branch Manager Meetings.
20. Be an active member in the community.
21. Complete quarterly education courses.
22. Build and ensure employee and customer satisfaction levels are met.
23. Perform back-up Head Teller duties as needed.
Requirements:
• Responsible to the Regional Branch Manager for the fulfillment of duties assigned.
• Will have contact with customers and public.
• Ability to manage branch-banking personnel engaged in retail operations to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives within bank policy guidelines.
• Previous experience in retail banking, sales, and staff management preferred.
• Requires sound knowledge of established procedures, methods, and practices, and extensive knowledge of customer base.
• Good sales and computer skills, and a proven ability to develop business opportunities are necessary.
• Should be analytically minded and possess good judgment.
• Must demonstrate sales, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain relationships within the business community, including participation with community organizations and community projects.
Working Conditions:

• Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds.
