Position Summary:
This position offers support in several areas of the Human Resource Department, while providing a high-level of professional HR and customer service for employees of FFBT in all HR-related areas.
The focus of the position is performance of routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale, health and safety; and training and development.
Duties:
- Assists with development, implementation and evaluation of the bank’s overall policies and procedures, including recruitment, testing and selection
- Work in partnership with the marketing department to coordinate recruiting efforts, staff communication, awareness, and recognition through social media.
3. Support the Recruitment, Interviewing, Selection and Hiring process
a. Attend recruitment functions as appropriate
b. Assist in administering pre-employment testing
c. Assists with developing and maintaining relationships with appropriate colleges and universities, as well as, community agencies to promote goodwill and assist with building candidate pools
d. When appropriate, work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates
4. Assist specifically in development and delivery of employee communications/relations – through selection, onboarding, and orientation of the FFBT workforce
5. Assist with employee documentation filing and retention
a. Provide assistance in administration of employee certifications Ex: Notary, NMLS
6. Assist with conflict resolution
7. Provide limited support for benefits processing and administration
8. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human resources and employment law.
9. Publish Insite newsletter monthly/periodically
10. Other duties as assigned and needed.
Requirements:Relationships/Qualifications:
- Responsible to Chief Human Resource Officer for the fulfillment of duties assigned
2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and 1-2 years of HR experience preferred.
3. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with employees, while being proficient with interpersonal relations and communicative skills
4. Ability to prioritize and multi-task
5.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
6. Self-starter, ability to prioritize tasks, strong interpersonal skills, willingness to have a flexible schedule
7. Continued research, education and training are essential
8. Ability to balance multiple requirements, high levels of drive and determination combined with a dynamic and innovative approach, familiarity with city, state and federal laws, regulations and codes related to employment and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations
