TREASURY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, AVP

LOCATION: Evansville Region
HOURS: Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm *Over-time may be required if business and staffing needs dictate.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Treasury Management Specialist, AVP is responsible for supporting and servicing Treasury Management relationships and the overall functions of the Treasury Management area. This position will be responsible for sales prospecting and the opening and maintenance of Treasury Management accounts, assisting the Treasury Management team in day-to-day workflow, and being an integral part of Treasury Management’s growth objectives. This position will be actively involved in the daily service of banking clients and provide exceptional customer service. Incumbent responsible for being knowledgeable about all BSA-related functions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Associate’s degree in business-related field preferred, but not required
•Minimum 2 years Treasury Management experience
•Prior experience in a sales-focused environment
•Knowledge of banking products and services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES:
•Responsible for prospecting for new business
•Responsible for achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional and timely client service
•Uncover opportunities to cross-sell First Federal’s products and services
•Responsible for the overall support of Treasury Management clients, products, and services
•Become knowledgeable of First Federal’s Treasury Management products and services
•Partner with Deposit Operations, Commercial Lending, Retail Banking, and other First Federal colleagues
•Attend client and prospect meetings as necessary
•Assist clients in the on-boarding process
•Train clients on Treasury Management products and services as necessary
•Prepare and complete documentation
•File documentation into the bank’s document repository
•Account service and maintenance
•All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•Good interpersonal communication skills
•Good computer skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Salesforce)
•Must be able to multi-task
•Must have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize
•General knowledge of banking products and services
