Role : To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
- Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments. Sell money orders and travelers checks to members; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
- Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services. Direct members to appropriate departments for specific information and services.
- Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
- Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
- Cross-sells and opens share account, checking account and other credit union services.
Experience & Skills Required : Minimum of 6 months cash handling and customer service. Ability to operate a ten key calculator and computer keyboard with high attention to detail. Must possess a friendly and professional demeanor.
Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent
