We are seeking an experienced Accountant who will ultimately be responsible for the overall finance functions for the Group’s US based entity. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare and review payments made to suppliers and ensure proper approval process.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and bank account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management reports to provide management with a snapshot on the business health and cashflow position.
- Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements and working with consultants; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation and filings.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with some experience in technology companies
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in SaaS accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
