We are seeking a skilled Accountant focusing on the US market who can also support our small team in Paris and UAE. This role is crucial to our financial operations and will ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
\n- Facilitate recruitment and onboarding processes at the Paris office, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Assist in establishing and aligning local HR policies with those of the group companies.
- Address local employee inquiries, including but not limited to onboarding and compliance with labor regulations.
- Maintain accurate and current records of local employee details, including personal information, job titles, and attendance logs.
- Oversee daily operational needs of local employees and collaborate with the international operations team to organize high-level internal events such as workshops, company outings, and off-site meetings.
- Liaise with external vendors for office management needs to ensure the office environment is orderly, professional, and welcoming.
- Manage office budgets and expenditures, process invoices, and handle expense reports.
- Execute additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Assist in coordinating with local governments and organizations for the establishment of local entities, including opening bank accounts and setting up office spaces.
- Collaborate with the international operations team to create and maintain a compliant work environment for all staff.
- Foster cooperation with international sites to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate inter-departmental communication and collaboration to support organizational needs.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hr, office management, administrative support, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in French and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, online tools that facilitate collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; positive, no-task-too- small attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs. Able to meet the cross-time zone communication need (not often, but may happen sometimes).
- Knowledge of French government regulations and compliance requirements is a big plus.
