We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst II to join our IT Infrastructure Department-Server. The Systems Analyst II is responsible for designing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure systems/applications. Provides production support and assists in developing and executing strategic roadmaps with focus on server administration and management of associated infrastructure systems/applications (e.g. Physical Servers, Virtual Server Hosts/Storage, VMWare, Backup Systems). Systems/applications supported may also include but are not limited to Email, virtual desktop infrastructure, network systems, cloud computing, backup systems and security systems.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary)
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $68,500-93,000/yr; commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience required
5 years’ experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications required
3 years of experience with managing and supporting server/storage systems required
Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors preferred
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and troubleshoot server hardware and operating systems
Advanced knowledge in systems administration and data management
Working knowledge with network infrastructure components, including hardware and security tools
Proficient experience with virtualization solutions
Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with end users
Working knowledge of information security and how it relates to management of infrastructure
Proficient with system monitoring tools such as WhatsUpGold or Solarwinds
Familiar with Project Management concepts
Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
