Summary
Reporting to the Corporate Sustainability Officer, this position will serve as the technical subject matter expert on existing and proposed GHG emissions disclosures, procedure and policies. This role will be an integral part of the team responsible for sustainability data collection, reporting and sustainability data analysis. The role will also be responsible for GHG emissions verification and support sustainability reporting.
Role / Responsibilities
- Responsible for the collection and tracking of sustainability and GHG data.
- Responsible for calculation of scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions, verification and reporting of GHG emissions.
- Responsible for developing and managing GHG emissions inventories, documentation, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal partners to develop additional capabilities and tools to identify, measure and monitor sustainability related data.
- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, data owners and third-party contractor(s) for collecting, calculating and evaluating GHG emissions in line with GHG protocol and relevant frameworks across all scopes.
- Support improvements in GHG emissions data integrity, timely reporting and analysis as needed.
- Identify emerging GHG and climate related issues, assessing gaps and providing recommendations to address them.
- Support sustainability team to assess emerging issues, climate and environmental risk assessments, and data inventory.
- Assists in developing content for both internal and external sustainability reporting.
- Manages projects and schedules as necessary to meet regulatory deadlines.
- Assists in development, execution and disclosure of stakeholder assessments.
- Assists in building reports, tracking, and analysis in line with sustainability strategy and goals.
