The Food and Beverage Director is a key member of the Executive Committee, responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations at Hutton, including:
- Analog: A live music venue combining elevated design, state-of-the-art Bose sound equipment, craft cocktails, creating a unique social and entertainment hub.
- Evelyn’s: A newly renovated, art-inspired restaurant offering a cosmopolitan vibe perfect for drinks, dinner, or a picture-worthy brunch.
- Banquet & Catering: Over 25,000 square feet of event space designed to deliver exceptional dining and service experience.
This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue, and ensuring operational excellence across all F&B outlets. The Director will develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, increase profitability, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

What you'll be doing...
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, banquets/event catering, and music venue.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service and product quality.
- Team Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor food and beverage team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets for all F&B operations.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Guest Engagement
- Regularly interact with guests to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Incorporate guest preferences into the evolution of menus and service offerings.
- Menu Innovation
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and beverage specialists to design seasonal menus and signature offerings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to keep the hotel’s offerings competitive and unique.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all operations adhere to local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Event Coordination
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to plan and execute successful dining and beverage experiences for events and banquets.
Requirements...
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a boutique or luxury hotel environment.
- Certifications: SERV Safe, TIPS certification, or equivalent preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Attributes: Passionate about hospitality, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
