Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for a 100 unit apartment community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and a thorough understanding of maintenance management practices.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of property and apartments occupied and unoccupied and systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in maintenance management practices, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
