Job Description
The Financial Services Representative I role involves delivering personalized customer service by engaging in financial conversations with clients and prospects to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. This position requires maintaining client relationships, upholding First Interstate Bank's Service Commitments, and adhering to our vision and values.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, answering client questions, resolving issues, and offering suitable solutions.
- Perform a variety of financial transactions, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and counting currency and coin accurately.
- Open and manage various products, such as consumer and business checking and savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and consumer credit cards.
- Engage in financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine needs and provide appropriate solutions, recognizing referral opportunities to other lines of business.
Key Requirements:
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- 1-3 years of banking or related experience is necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
