Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the People Operations team with administrative tasks, employee engagement, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance. This role ensures the smooth functioning of HR operations by managing various HR processes and acting as a point of contact for employees, helping create positive employee experience. The HR Coordinator will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures to align with company objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administer new hire paperwork
• Conduct candidate reference and background checks
• Ensure proper documentation for new hires, terminations, transfers, and status changes
• Ensure all employee files are accurately maintained and compliant with company policies and legal standards
• Prepare employment verification letters and other HR documents
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a smooth transition
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS systems
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Schedule/Location:
- Hybrid: Henderson, NV (3x a week in office)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
