What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service of Process Coordinator position at First Legal?
Position Summary :
The Service of Process Department Coordinator reports to the San Diego Service of Process Department Manager. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming service of process requests from clients through a very busy inbox, setting up and assigning service of process requests to messengers and process servers, and providing quality control on all service attempts made the field servers. They will be required to provide excellent customer service and an effortless experience to our clients at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Answering client inquiries and responding to incoming client email and phone requests for service of process
- Printing and preparing documents for service of process in San Diego County, by mail, by fax, by overnight service, and by electronic service
- Quality checking work by our process servers and messengers
- Assisting in the preparation of proofs of service once documents have been served
- Strong, effective verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to individual and company success
- Investigating and resolving client complaints
- Ability to successfully serve as a member of a team
