What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist (Part Time 25-29 Hours) position at First Merchants Brand?
First Merchants Bank is seeking a Receptionist to join our team! This position will greet all individuals entering the bank and direct them to the correct Bank personnel. Answer and route incoming telephone calls, take messages and/or deliveries. Perform office support activities to help internal staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet individuals entering the bank and assist in connecting visitors to the appropriate team member.
- Answer and route phone calls using multi-line system.
- Relay messages and report complaints in accordance with Bank protocol.
- Perform administrative tasks for various divisions.
- Order, receive, store, and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Operate office equipment.
- Manage conference room reservations.
- Assist in customer events, team meetings, grand openings and other projects as assigned.
- Serve as key contact for facilities issues and other vendors, including catering.
- Contact property managers when necessary.
- Properly route and/or log delivers.
Receptionist may be assigned additional responsibilities listed below depending on their location:
Daleville Data Center
- Provide temporary access device to employees who forgot their devices, notifying Bank Protection of temporary device assignment.
- Assist employees with vending machine request.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A minimum of one (1) year of clerical experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
