Job Description : As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the apartment complex, maximizing tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the property to the highest standards. This is a key leadership role that involves managing a team, overseeing the maintenance of the property, and providing excellent customer service to all residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the apartment complex including leasing, tenant relations, and facility maintenance.
- Manage rent collection, lease renewals, and ensure timely payment of bills.
- Supervise maintenance staff and vendors, ensuring that maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure the property is kept in top condition.
- Handle resident concerns and complaints, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and prepare monthly / annual performance reports.
- Lead leasing efforts, including marketing and showing vacant units.
- Assist in recruiting and training on-site staff.
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of property management regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with tenants and staff.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience in managing multi-family apartment complexes
- CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) or CPM (Certified Property Manager) certification is a plus
